In the World of the Unseen that dwells among the Seen there was a little princess whose Father was the King of Lightning. It was a wonderous harmonious World where love ruled.

When she was born the princess received a special gift from her Father; the gift of love.
With it she made music from the heart that flowed through their world
and touched all.
One sunny morning Father Lightning called her to Himself and told her it was time for her to go on a journey through the World of the Seen.
But she had to go incognito for He wanted her to know how precious her gift really was.

She had to see how
people of the Seen treated the least of them and spread her gift of love to all.
So off she went on a journey through the unknown
"Come little princess let me take you there."
"Oh yes Father Lightning, let us go." She was eager to see the Seen and spread sweet love around.
Climbing on His back she smiled and held on tight as they rode through the wall of lightning that separated the Seen from the Unseen.
In the distance she could see the sparkling crystal castle of the kingdom of the Seen.

"What a wonderful light Father, there must be much love in the world of the Seen."
"That's what I want you to find out, little princess, if the world of the Seen is a righteous Kingdom that is founded on the gift of Love I once bestowed on them."
"I will do my best dear Father." The princess kissed her Father as she continued her journey alone to the kingdom of the Seen.
"Princess!"
She turned around at the sound of her Father's sweet voice.
"I am with you every step of the way, whenever you need me just call my name and I will come to you."
She smiled and watched Him fly away to His throne again.
As she walked through the woods she came along two deer who greeted her warmly and asked where she was going to.

"Oh my, good morning dear deers, I am visiting your World to see if people love the least of these."
They looked surprised and said that she'd better hurry to find shelter before it got dark. Then they disapeared as swiftly as they appeared.
In an instance it got dark and she could not find her way out of the forest anymore.

"Oh my, what should I do, I feel lost here in these woods and It's cold and dark."
The little princess stared into the dark and decided to stay right where she was until the sun would shine her way out of the dark.
Wolves in sheepclothes
"Well what have we hear."
The little princess shivered at the sound of a soft hissing voice that suddenly rippled through the silence of the night.

She turned around and stood face to face with a pack of hungry wolves.
"Oh my, oh my, Father what should I do, oh I wish you were here."
She opened her lips and forced herself to speak as she gathered up all her courage to face the hungry wolves.
"Oh, well hello there, I mean goodnight, ah, nice to meet you?"
"...Well...Yes nice to meet you, I am the little princ.. Oh I mean I am the....the least of all, who might you all be?
The wolves grumbled and some of them giggled as they wondered who this funny little child could be here in the middle of nowhere.
The leader of the pack, cleared his throat and looked at her with evil contempt.
"Oh my, if it's not little red Riding Hood all by herself, lost in another fairytale. Hello my sweet child.
It's very very nice to meet you also, ha,ha, where are you going to, if we may ask politely?"
"I'm on my way out of the forest but it got dark."
"Oh it got dark did it not, well that usually happens when the sun sets, my sweet deary."
"We are the guardians of the dark forest and we are more than absolutely willing to guard you through the night. Yes indeed we will guard you well." The wolves laughed and howled through the eerie night.
"Well I suppose... since I have nowhere to go..., and you are guardians, I suppose I could let you guard me through the night."
The little princess knew not what to say and she wondered how she would get away from this pack of evil wolves.
"Come with us then, we will shelter you in our humble dwelling place."
"Oh my, oh my Father what should I do, Father help!" The princess softly called to the Father for help, but it seemed He wasn't home.
They took her to their dwelling place and surrounded her so she could not get away from them.
To her surprise they did not harm her, but most of them just fell asleep.
Still she could not tip toe her way away from them.
Tired and in tears she fell asleep as she softly cried out for Father Lightning.
Values and nobility
"Oh Father Lightning you have come to me, now I'm safe, thank you thank you Father."
"I am with you always" Her Father's voice calmed her aching heart.

She opened her eyes expecting to see His sweet face but instead stared into the evil eyes of the pack of wolves.
"Oh no, it was a dream, I am still here. Father where are you?"
"Good morning sweet thing, did you sleep well"
"Oh good morning Mr. wolf, thank you for guarding me, but I have to leave now, I can find my way, now that it's light."
"You're going nowhere missy, we like you to remain with us forever, just in case, so we have a little something when food is scarce around here."
"Yes a little something sweet!" The wolves laughed and howled in evil gladness.
"Quiet you fools, someone is coming!" The leader of the pack yelled at his fellow wolves.
The little princess's heart leaped in hope. "Oh could it be my Father, if only it were my Father."
"It's the noble servant of his majesty the king of the Seen," The wolves lined up and saluted the noble servant.
He stopped and greeted them with some contempt.
"Well hello there wolves, what have you to offer to the king today in order to remain in these parts of the woods? And who is it you have there with you?"
"Oh, it's just the least of all, she's visiting us."
The little princess jumped up and shouted: "Kind sir, kind sir it's not true, they won't let me go! Please help me!"
"Are you the least of all, child?" He frowned his brow.
"Well..., yes I am." The princess wished she could tell him that she was a princess but she remembered what her Father had said.
"Oh well, then I cannot help you, you have nothing to offer his Majesty the king of the Seen.
These wolves although they are a grim and evil personality, do have things to offer to increase his majesties wealth.
So goodday to you my child, you are to remain with them."
The princess was startled, suddenly she felt her anger at so much injustice arise and she raised her voice to the servant.
"In all my life I have never heard of such an unrighteous, unloving kindness. Surely in that sparkling ice crystal castle there must be some light of righteousness left.
I appeal to the King Himself. Surely he cannot be all that you imply him to be. There must be something good in him."
"To the king you appeal, to the king you shall go then."
The Foundation of light
He took her on his strange horse to ride to the king while the wolves angrily looked on.

"We'll get you later missy, you will return to us."
They drove speedily to the crystal castle where she was hurried to the king of the Seen.
He was in the middle of an important meeting with his treasurers and advisers.
The noble servant bowed before the king as he placed the little princess in front of himself.
"Oh majesty, I apologize for interrupting your meeting but I have here before me a very unusual situation.
This little girl who is the least of all, has appealed to be justified by your majesty.
And according to our rules anyone who appeals to the king must appear before your majesty."
His majesty frowned his brow as he observed her.
Then he smiled and asked her to come forth to where he sat on his throne.
"So you are the least of all, now what is it that has brought you here"?
The little princess shyly came forward and did not dare to look at him, for he seemed so great and she so little.
She looked at the ground as she spoke: "Your highness I appeal on the foundations this kingdom was build. The foundation of love and righteousness from which your castle derives it's crystal light that can be seen all over."
The king was surprised by her words.
"Well, well, I must say now, you actually know about the foundations of my kingdom. You are certainly not just the usual least of all." He smiled and seemed amused at such an unusual encounter.
"Well go on, what is it you want to ask of me?"
"Dear Sire, king, I am held hostage by an evil pack of wolves that roam your woods and that seem to benefit your kingdom by their gifts.
Sire, I want to be released to continue my journey through your kingdom to do my Father's will.
But your noble servant has denied me justice so I had to appeal to be brought before you to plead my case.
For I cannot believe that in this castle of light there is no real light of righteousness and love's compassion anymore."
The king was a bit startled by the words that came from the lips of this little girl who was the least of all.
He turned to his treasurers and advisers.
"Now see here, this little girl wants us to honor the foundation this kingdom was build upon.
What have you to say my noble servants?"
The
noble servants talked back and forth and answered the king.
"Oh king, majesty, honor be to your most gracious name.
We do agree with the least of all that the king should honor the code of righteousness and love, but due to the circumstances we should respect the gifts of the wolves
above our foundation of justice, mercy and love."
The king bowed his head and thought about their words. His heart wanted to yield to the foundations of his kingdom, but then he hardenbed his heart and turned towards the least of all again.
"Dear child, I want to compliment you on your knowledge of the foundation of jusctice mercy and love and I truly want to honor it, but my advisers have adviced to value other things above our foundation.
I am truly sorry to decline your appeal, but this is life as it is today in my kingdom.
Tomorrow you will be brought back to the wolves again."
The princess listened in unbelief, then she started crying.
"Oh Father, Father!" She whispered.
"There's nothing left of Your foundation of Love here.
There's no justice, mercy and love anymore.
The kingdom has fallen, fallen from true light to false reflections.
The kingdom of the Seen has fallen"
They lead her away to a room where she had to remain till the next day.
The little princess
knelt on the bed by the window and prayed to her Father of lightning.

"Oh my Father, my task is completed and I have found out for you how the least of these is treated in the kingdom of the Seen.
I have spoken to the king and he refused me justice and merciful love.
The king and his servants value other things higher than the foundation of love you gave to them.
They have fallen from Your light to the darkness
of the wolves whom they serve.
Please come and rescue me before sun rise. Thank you Father, I love you."
The Father heard the voice of the little princess and was enraged by what she had revealed to Him.
"So they do not value the foundations I gave them anymore, then they don't deserve my light
anymore too."
His anger burned inside His heart and thunder and lightning rained down from the skies.

"I remove my light from this kingdom forever, no longer will they enjoy my justice mercy and love, from this day forth their kingdom shall be covered in darkness.
Come forth my little princess spread your wings and fly. Come to me, you have done well my child."
Suddenly a great light shone through the window as darkness covered the whole kingdom of the Seen.
The princess felt her wings arising and found herself soaring outside the castle that had lost every bit of light and was covered in complete darkness.

She sighed as her heart filled with sadness for this great kingdom that had fallen into complete darkness because they had left the foundation their kingdom was build upon.
Home sweet home

"Princess I'm glad to have you back home, you have been very brave and have done my will in spite of adversity."
The little princess snuggled in her Father's arms it felt so warm and safe to be in His arms again.
"Thank you Father, but it was because You were with me all the time even when it felt like you weren't.
Thank you for rescuing me and keeping me in Your arms always."
Blessings and love in Christ,
Monique
